Connects to existing cameras
Keep your current CCTV infrastructure. No expensive replacement project required.
Safe schools powered by AI
From passive CCTV to proactive school safety.
Kepler Vision is a Kazakhstan-built computer vision platform: intelligent video surveillance helps schools detect and prevent safety incidents in real time using existing CCTV cameras.
Capabilities
The Kepler Vision video analytics system analyzes video streams locally, identifies risks as they happen, and gives school teams clear, actionable information.
Keep your current CCTV infrastructure. No expensive replacement project required.
Video stays inside the school perimeter while AI processes events on site.
Critical situations are recognized immediately, not discovered after the event.
Staff receive fast alerts and a clear dashboard for coordinated response.
In action
Real detections from school cameras. Each event is recognized on site, marked, and flagged to staff in real time — no scrubbing through hours of footage.

What we detect
Incident detection is tailored for education and helps staff respond quickly.
Proven in schools
AI video surveillance rollouts in Astana schools already show measurable impact: pilot schools report faster incident response, better visibility into student behavior patterns, and fewer safety-related events.
Secure by design
Each school runs its own AI pipeline inside the campus perimeter. QData accesses events only through an encrypted support channel when maintenance is required.
Video remains on the school's local network. Only incident metadata is surfaced to authorized teams.
About the system
QData is a Kazakhstani company behind Kepler Vision — a computer vision and intelligent video surveillance platform for education. Built in Astana, it is tailored to Kazakhstani schools, from existing camera infrastructure to personal data protection requirements.
Deploying AI video surveillance in a school requires no hardware replacement: the system connects to existing CCTV cameras and turns them into AI cameras that recognize conflicts, smoking, smoke, falls, weapons, and overcrowding. AI-powered monitoring runs around the clock, and video is processed locally, inside the school network.
The safe-school approach is already live in 10 schools in Astana: the safety system reacts to incidents as they happen, not after the fact. We are scaling video analytics to schools across Kazakhstan, and the platform is ready for kindergartens, universities, and other institutions.
FAQ
The essentials of how AI video analytics works in schools in Kazakhstan.
A system where artificial intelligence analyzes school camera footage in real time and automatically recognizes dangerous situations: fights, smoking, smoke, falls, weapons, overcrowding. Staff receive alerts within 1–3 seconds instead of manually reviewing recordings.
Regular CCTV only records what happens — footage is reviewed after an incident. AI-powered surveillance recognizes events as they occur and notifies the school team immediately, turning cameras from a passive archive into an active safety system.
Yes. The algorithm is trained to recognize genuinely aggressive actions — ordinary play and harmless physical activity normally do not trigger alerts. Every alert comes with the camera frame, so the school team can assess the situation right away.
Yes. Kepler Vision is built in Kazakhstan: the system is already deployed in 10 schools in Astana and ready to scale to other cities across the country.
In most cases, no: the system works with the school's existing CCTV infrastructure — including Hikvision and Dahua cameras — as long as image quality is sufficient for analytics. If some cameras are missing or their quality is too low, we help select and install new ones.
About a week. We audit the existing cameras, help install additional ones if needed, connect the local processing server, and set up the Kepler Vision software. The school provides a server room with power, a temperature of 18–22 °C, and an internet connection of 100+ Mbps.
Video is processed locally and never leaves the school network. Authorized staff see only alerts and incident data, while QData remote support connects over an encrypted channel and only when needed. The dashboard is accessible from a computer or phone, but only from within the school network.
